Corrections of scientific names in “A dataset of radiocaesium activity concentrations in marine species collected within 20 km and in the port of Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Plant, and measured by the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) during April 2012 - November 2020”: doi: 10.34355/CRiED.U.Tsukuba.00010
We did that two scientific names, Sebastes pachycephalus and Sebastes pachycephalus pachycephalus, were assigned to the same fish of which Japanese name is “Murasoi”. We also did that two scientific names, Squatina and Squatina japonica, are assigned to the same fish of which Japanese name is “Kasuzame”, too. We chose Sebastes pachycephalus for “Murasoi” and Squatina japonica for “Kasuzame” and used these scientific names throughout this dataset, respectively.
