FY2020 ERAN Kick-Off meeting is held

With the spread of the new coronavirus to more than 100 countries and regions, the 2020 ERAN Kickoff Meeting was held on May 19, 2020 using the Web Conferencing System (Webex), and thanks to the cooperation of more than 118 participants and others involved, the first-ever Web Conferencing Kickoff Meeting was a success.

With the spread of new coronaviruses in more than 100 countries and regions, the 2019 ERAN Annual Report Meeting was held on March 11, 2020 using the web conferencing system (Webex).Thanks to the cooperation of more than 100 presenters and others involved, the first ever web conferencing annual report meeting was a success.

Announcement of WEB Meeting for ERAN 2019 Annual Report Meeting (Notice)

The new coronavirus has been designated as a “public health emergency of international concern” by the World Health Organization (WHO) and a “designated infectious disease” of the Japanese government, and the situation of daily infections is changing, in light of this, the ERAN 2019 annual report meeting which was scheduled to be held in Fukushima Prefecture from March 10 to March 11, 2020, has been canceled and will be held on March 11 using the web conference system.

More details will be provided shortly.

We are now accepting applications for ERAN in 2020. Below is an overview.

*Application period: Until February 21st, 2020

Overview:
▼Types of Study
(1) Collaborative Research for Young Scientists(Max. budget:300,000 yen)
Collaborative research with an extramural researcher under 35 at April 1st, 2020, (collaborative researchers), and a host researcher(s) (see the list below). Participation to the seminar held in this research center is obliged. (Joining the seminar via web meeting system is acceptable)
(2) Priority Collaborative Research(Max. budget:200,000 yen)
Collaborative research with an extramural researcher(s) and host researcher, listed below.
(3) International Collaborative Research(Max. budget:200,000 yen)
Collaborative research with an extramural researcher(s), who has a post in the world outside Japan, and host researcher, listed below. The budget is able to be used for the research within Japan.
(4) General Collaborative Research
Collaborative research using the equipment, database and samples owned by the project. The researches which do not fall under the category of (1) to (3).

From April 1st, 2020 to March 31st, 2021.

FY2019 Kick-Off Meeting Held

On July 8th of 2019, the kick-off meeting is held at Laboratory of Advanced Research A building of Tsukuba University. Adding 110 participants, students joined to look at the poster presentation.

ERNC Official Web Site Launched

On 1st of April, 2019, aiming to solve various problems of environmental recovery in Fukushima, Environmental Radioactivity Research Network Center (ERNC) is established by cross-agency collaboration of the following 6 institutes: Center for Research in Isotopes and Environmental Dynamics (CRiED) at University of Tsukuba, Institute of Environmental Radioactivity (IER) at Fukushima University, Institute of Radiation and Emergency Medicine (IREM) at Hirosaki University, Sector of Fukushima Research and Development at Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA), Department of Radioecology and Fukushima Project, Center for Advanced Radiation Emergency Medicine, Quantum Medical Science Directorate at National Institutes for Quantum and Radiological Science and Technology (QST), and Fukushima Branch at National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES), accredited by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
Along with this establishment, this official web site has launched.
