On Monday, May 18, 2026, the ERAN Kickoff Meeting for fiscal year 2026 was held in a hybrid format at the University Hall of the University of Tsukuba.
At the on-site venue, 117 flash talks and poster presentations were conducted, while 54 poster sessions were held online via REMO. A total of 91 participants attended in person, and lively discussions took place with the participation of both on-site and online presenters.
Although the day had a summer-like atmosphere, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all participants, both on-site and online, as well as to everyone who contributed to the organization of the event.

We are planning to hold the ERAN kick-off meeting on 18 May 2026 at the University of Tsukuba.

All selected projects are requested to present an overview of their research and plans.
Each project will be asked to give a brief flash talk (within 30 seconds) and a poster presentation.

For those participating online, the poster session will be conducted using Remo.
Further details, including the registration form and program, will be shared around mid-April.

The 2025 ERAN Kick off Meeting was held on Tuesday, May 20^th at University of Tsukuba Hall. 57 flash talks and poster presentations were held at the venue, and 40 poster presentations were held online, resulting in a very successful event.　We would like to appreciate everyone who participated this meeting, and everyone who helped with the operation of the event on the day.

On Tuesday, May 21, the FY2024 ERAN Kick-off Meeting was held in a hybrid format at the Hirosaki University 50th Anniversary Hall in Hirosaki, Aomori, Japan.

The meeting was attended by 85 participants on site. Among the online participants, 102 gave flash talks via Microsoft Teams, while a total of 148 participants joined the poster sessions via Remo, including those who participated on site. The meeting provided an excellent opportunity for active discussions and networking among participants.

On Thursday, May 18, the FY2023 ERAN Kick-off Meeting was held in a hybrid format at the University of Tsukuba Auditorium and online.

The meeting was attended by 96 participants on site. The online flash talks delivered via Microsoft Teams attracted 98 viewers, while a total of 178 participants joined the online poster sessions via Remo.

Thanks to the cooperation and support of all participants, the FY2023 ERAN Kick-off Meeting was successfully concluded. We sincerely appreciate your continued support and look forward to working with you throughout this fiscal year.

Although this year’s meeting was held online once again, more than 150 poster presentations were presented, leading to lively discussions among participants.
Collaborative research projects covering a wide range of research fields were selected, and we look forward to their continued progress and future achievements.

The FY2021 ERAN Kick-off Meeting was held on Monday, May 24, 2021.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s meeting was once again held online. Flash talks were conducted via Webex, while the poster sessions were held on the Remo platform.

More than 130 participants attended the meeting, and lively discussions took place throughout the sessions.

Now in its third year, ERAN has seen an increasing number of collaborative research projects involving researchers from a wide range of disciplines. The interdisciplinary nature of these collaborations is expected to further advance research and foster future developments.

With the spread of the new coronavirus to more than 100 countries and regions, the 2020 ERAN Kickoff Meeting was held on May 19, 2020 using the Web Conferencing System (Webex), and thanks to the cooperation of more than 118 participants and others involved, the first-ever Web Conferencing Kickoff Meeting was a success.
